David Sears is the current owner and licensed instructor at Number 1 Driving. He has lived in the area since 2004, raising his family of 5. After the COVID shutdown and seeing the need for something local, he began his Drive Instructor License Training with Interface Driving Academy in Spokane. After becoming licensed by the state of WA (#22018329) he continued with his trainings to get his certifications as a DOL Knowledge Examiner (written test) and DOL Skills Examiner (drive test).
David has been a small business owner since 2011, so starting another business to help the community and fulfill needs seemed a natural course of action. David has a passion for soccer and enjoys working with youth, so if it seems like you recognize him but can’t quite place it, it could be from his years coaching and reffing for PRYSA and POYSA.
As a father, coach, and instructor David takes his time to understand each child’s needs. He finds satisfaction in helping them achieve their goals and grow toward their unique potentials.
